The first module of China's Tiangong Space Station named Tianhe was successfully launched on 29 April 2021. Two further experimentation modules are due to launch in 2022 and a telescope module in 2024. Tiangong's overall size will be roughly the same as the decommissioned Mir Space Station, which was about one fifth the size of The International Space Station.
